This calculator helps you to calculate how much you need to save on a lump sum/yearly/monthly basis to achieve your dream of having a comfortable retirement.

For example:

You wish to retire at age 55. You are currently earning RM60,000 p.a. and expect to receive 5% increment every year. Your current annual expenses is RM48,000 with an inflation rate of 6%. You have RM30,000 which can give you a 5% interest and RM100,000 in EPF yielding a rate of return of 6%. Your total contribution to EPF is 23%. When you retire, you will put your money in Fixed Deposit (FD) to generate your retirement income and you expect the long term FD rate to be 5%.

You need to save RM1,664 each month on the expectation that your investment will generate a rate of return of 10%.
