As you may be aware, Lehman Brothers and some of its affiliates have filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.  The United States Bankruptcy Court has fixed 22 September 2009 at 5:00 p.m. (prevailing Eastern Time) as the last date and time for the filing of proofs of claim.

It has come to Securities Commission (SC)'s knowledge that the Claim Agent for Lehman Brothers, et al has taken efforts to disseminate relavant forms in relation to filing of claim to potential claimants world-wide who might have a claim against Lehman Brothers' estate.  A copy of 'Notice of Deadlines for Filing Proofs of Claim' ("Notice") and 'Proof of Claim' form has reached the SC.

In view of the above, the SC would like to bring to your attention that should you or any of your clients to your knowledge have any claims against Lehman Brothers and/or any of the named affiliates in the Notice, you are advised to immediately take the necessary actions to file in your claim and advise your clients to do the same by using the Proof of Claim form before the deadline stated above.  You can obtain further information, including a copy of the Notice and 'Proof of Claim' form and information on the manner in which the Proof of Claim form must be filed and addressed to at http://www.lehman-docket.com
